Imam Zain Al-Abidin (رضئ اللہ تعالی عنہ)

Ash Shaikh Mir Asedullah Quadri

Imam Ali ibn Husain Zain Al-Abidin (659-713 CE) (عَلِيّ ٱبْن ٱلْحُسَيْن زَيْن ٱلْعَابِدِين‎) accompanied his father Imam Hussain (رضئ اللہ تعالی عنہ) during the battle of Karbala in 680 CE, but he could not take part in the battle as he was sick and bedridden. After Karbala, he along with other surviving women family members, were taken to Yazid in Damascus. Later, the Imam and other members of the family were allowed to return to Medina, where he led a secluded life with a few close companions. His life was entirely devoted to religious teachings, mostly in the form of invocations and supplications. This book provides a brief biography of Imam Zain Al-Abidin (رضئ اللہ تعالی عنہ).
